José Mourinho took aim at Manchester United after his team conceded a penalty at the end of Sunday’s game against Newcastle United.
Spurs held the upper hand for most of the game thanks to an early attack by Lucas Moura, but Newcastle secured a share of the loot with Callum Wilson converting a late penalty after a VAR review.
And speaking post-match, Mourinho noted that VAR awarded United a penalty after the final whistle sounded in their last-gasp win over Brighton.
“All I know is that I have more experience than him and I came out of the tunnel when the referee blew the whistle for the last time.
“I know that in some games for some clubs, even after the last whistle, something important might happen, but for us I knew that after the last whistle we were finished and I went to the locker room.
“So Nuno is a little more naive than me and stays there,” said Mourinho.
Mourinho will face United in their next Premier League game and could be without the services of winger Son, who retired at half-time and the Portuguese confirmed he hoped the player would be out for some time.
