Jamie Carragher was left with balls in the face after his prediction about Liverpool’s title chances fell through on Sunday.
The Reds won a point against relegation fighter Fulham thanks to a late penalty from Mohamed Salah, but were lucky enough to win a share of the spoils.
Fulham put on a brave performance and might have been out of sight at halftime if it weren’t for the impressive Alisson.
The result was the latest in recent good form for the Cottagers, who have now risen out of the drop zone.
Meanwhile, Liverpool missed a chance to regain top spot in the Premier League, prompting fans to remind Carragher of his earlier season prediction.

The Sky Sports expert said just three games this season: “I’m more confident that Fulham will fall than Liverpool will win the league.”
Carragher took particular aim at Fulham’s defense following their 3-0 loss to Aston Villa in late September, after which his record stood at 10 goals conceded in his first three games.
Since then, Scott Parker’s team has shown some struggle and resurgence, scoring seven points in their last six games to move to 17th place.
They would have been good value for victory, too, until Salah’s kick twisted under Alphonso Areola in the 77th minute.

It has been an extremely interesting start to the season for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The title defense got off to a shaky start when they beat a seven-goal thriller against Leeds, before going to seven conceded in a beating of Aston Villa.
Virgil van Dijk’s season ended with injury in a 2-2 draw at Everton, leaving the title favorites much less secure in the back, especially with Alisson’s concern about injury.
But there is no slowdown in what will be a busy campaign, with Klopp making sure his men keep up with him as they battle for more titles.

Until that point, Bobby Decordova-Reid’s first-half match appeared to be the winner as Liverpool struggled to find a draw.
Areola lived up to the Reds’ best chances, saving both Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones.
But the Cottagers couldn’t hold on as Aboubakar Kamara was penalized for a hand in the box, giving Salah a chance to win a share of the loot from Liverpool.

When asked about the chances of Fulham staying up after the game, Graeme Souness said: “If that’s the Fulham we are going to have until the end of the season, they will be fine.”
Souness also criticized the performance of the reigning champions, stating on Sky Sports: “There was no magic from Liverpool’s three forwards, they puffed and puffed. They have to do better.
“I think there was a penalty against them in the first half. Today they got away with it.
“Fulham was fabulous.”
