Is Fortnite covering up its flaws with the new season?

The Fortnite Chapter 2 season made a ‘Marvel-ous’ debut by introducing superheroes like Thor, Iron Man, She-Hulk, etc. in the game. They must join forces with Fortnite characters to face the imminent threat: Galactus. He is on his way to the island and his arrival would mean the destruction of all reality. There are also new cosmetics, weapon changes, and mythical items that will definitely impress fans. From the looks of it, everything looks amazing, but it still doesn’t change the fact that the game needs some serious changes.

watch this cheep from Fortnite pro Faze Sway.

Fortnite needs an extreme makeover

He describes what the game really needs rather than another deceptive season that diverts attention from the real issues. And some of the problems described here are absolutely necessary for a BR game. Take the FOV slider, for example. Although the game is in third person, you still need a FOV slider. This allows you to choose the perfect setting for you in any situation. This is already a scenario in rival BR Call Of Duty Warzone and it’s about time Fortnite added this as well.

You also don’t have the option to customize your crosshair. Considering that the game can be played on the console, PC and mobile device, it can be a different shooting experience for everyone. This is an absolutely basic setup that should definitely be available and hasn’t made it to the game yet.

A hacker arrived at the FNCS semis

Many of the things mentioned by Sway are very relevant and must be in the game. But there is a much bigger issue to tackle and that is dealing with cheaters / hackers. Epic has failed spectacularly when it comes to dealing with hackers / cheaters, with one of them even making it to the FNCS semi-finals. This is the largest Fortnite tournament in the world and Epic could not detect a hacker in it. This should be a wake-up call for developers, as there are several things to fix.

The new season has also received some praise. Streamers like Sypher, Clix have appreciated season 4, but this doesn’t mean that existing problems no longer matter. There are a lot of things developers need to fix and they need to hear what players have to say. With all the drama surrounding Epic’s battle against Apple and Google, the game is at the center of controversy right now. Epic really needs to address these concerns and prevent players from completely losing interest in the game. The game needs an extreme makeover and hopefully the developers will make it happen.

I love to play games of all kinds. You can usually find me casually teaming up with my team to play the most random games ever. Oh, and I also manage to write about those sometimes
