Infinix, a world leader in the consumer electronics market, today launched the Zero 8 smartphone in the Kenyan market. The Zero 8 is the company’s flagship series for 2020/21.
Although targeting the high-end market, Zero 8 will retail for a relatively affordable KES 28,999 and will be covered by a warranty policy of up to 25 months.
The warranty will cover repairs on any purchased Zero 8 device that malfunctions after purchase free of charge as additional after-sales value for Zero 8 consumers.
The sleek and fashion-focused Infinix Zero 8 runs on the Android v10 operating system, and its key feature is the presence of a Media Tek Helio G90 processor.
This, combined with its 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM, will allow consumers to experience improved speeds and overall device performance, including fast download and upload times and an incredible app experience, compared to the Zero 6.
The 90HZ Full HD display and the G90T processor also mean improved performance for cameras, including wide-angle, ultra-wide and rear cameras that will take photographic performance to a new level.
“Infinix is taking a step to be more premium and to be able to compete and be the face of this new direction as a fashion conscious brand. This direction is very on par with our target customers, whose lifestyles can be described as image-conscious and fashion-conscious and modern, with a taste for high-end devices, ”said Mike Zhang, Brand Manager, Infinix Kenya. .
The smartphone is backed by a 4500 mAh battery which means fast charging and longer life (31 hours of talk time and 26 hours of standby time). Connectivity features on the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, and more. It is compatible with 4G, 3G and 2G.
Infinix Zero 8 is undoubtedly ready to redefine the image of the company when thinking about its devices. Another standout feature is the device’s cameras, both front and rear.
On the front, for the first time ever, Infinix has launched a device with two cameras for selfies (48 + 8MP), placing them in a perforated configuration. On the back, there’s a 64-megapixel main sensor that tops the quad-camera setup located on the diamond-style bump.
Still, in design, the Infinix Zero 8 is equipped with a double-punch hole for the self-portrait, present in the upper left corner. This includes a 48MP main lens and an 8MP wide angle lens.
It has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sample rate display. The device also features a 64MP quad camera setup, in a prism-shaped module. The phone has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The Infinix Zero 8 has the futuristic look that blends naturally with the diagonal design and colors used.
“Infinix will continue to play its key role in developing devices that meet the needs of the market, as well as the technology of the day that appeals to users of future lifestyle aspirations,” added Zhang.
Smartphones have become a key aspect of everyday life, allowing many people to run their businesses from the comfort of their seats and giving them access to the outside world.
In addition to the flagship mobile phone, Infinix is also ready to venture into a new product category with the imminent launch of Infinix TV, which aims to achieve a smart lifestyle in line with modern trends.
The TV will also run on the Android smart TV system after Infinix receives approval from Google. You’ll enjoy all the features and benefits that come with the system, including the ability to stream from favorite apps, play music and games, and stream from any device.
