Mrs. Marvel is an upcoming Marvel series for Disney Plus. Studios were looking for an actor to play the main character for quite some time. Now, according to the latest reports, the creators have found their lead actor in a teenage newcomer.

Does the Ms. Marvel series get the lead in Iman Vellani?
Marvel Studios has approached newcomer Iman Vellani to play the title role in Mrs. Marvel Serie. It will be his first big Hollywood project. Earlier, Bad boys for life Filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, along with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon approached the project as directors.
Bisha K. Ali is the lead writer for Mrs. Marvel Serie. It will focus on Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager living in New Jersey. She made her first appearance in 2013 as the first Muslim Marvel character to earn her own title. With the upcoming show, she will become Marvel Studios’ first Muslim on-screen hero. Mrs. Marvel The series is expected to launch in 2022.

Kamala Khan has the ability to alter her shape and size. She discovers she has inhuman genes as a result of the “Inhumanity” story. Khan takes the mantle of Mrs. Marvel from her idol Carol Danvers, following her assuming the role of Captain Marvel. Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan is said to enter the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) later in Captain Marvel sequel starring Brie Larson up front.
Kumail Nanjiani expressed his thoughts on the casting of Iman Vellani in Mrs. Marvel series on Twitter. The actress mentioned that her work will mean a lot to many audiences, including herself. Nanjiani will make his MCU debut as Kingo in a highly anticipated movie, Eternal which is scheduled to launch on November 5, 2021.

Mrs. Marvel is one of the many series that Marvel is developing for Disney Plus and expanding the MCU. Tatiana Maslany recently landed the title role in She hulk Serie. The studio also gave Samuel L. Jackson’s character Nick Fury his own show. WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye are some series that are in development at Marvel for Disney Plus. The whole series will connect to the MCU.
