AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – The prosecutor for the International Criminal Court said on Wednesday she was dropping a preliminary investigation into alleged war crimes committed by British troops in Iraq.

The inquiry never reached the level of a full investigation and Fatou Bensouda’s office concluded that the British authorities had examined the allegations.
