What is the difference between periscope and telephoto anyway? So far, all phones with 4X zoom or more have periscope lenses
And I don’t think Mate 30 Pro E has GMS unless you use Kirin 980 and Android 9, P30 Pro NE was just P30 Pro with more storage so obviously GMS wouldn’t be a problem
Anyway, the leaks are too rare at the moment, which is quite strange.

All the apps I need are already on Appgallery & Petal Search, including the supported banking apps in my country. It’s not like the unusable services like the Mate 30 launch last year. HMS is growing rapidly now, and the introduction of Petal Search solves many problems when it comes to application availability.
I will definitely upgrade my Mate 20 to this.

If you’re going to put a bezel on the top and bottom, why not make the top bezel a little bit bigger to get rid of the double hole for good?

As someone else pointed out, if you look REALLY closely at that sensor too left, that’s a periscope lens. But a 20MP wide-angle sensor? That’s a big downgrade from the Mate 30 Pro …
Other than that, if it’s 90Hz in 1080p basically on that battery, I’m not interested. I’m going to wait for the Pro + to see if that piques my interest. Otherwise the ROG Phone 3 keeps my money (before you @ me, I don’t care SO MUCH about the camera despite what I said earlier in this paragraph).

Curved screens are bad, but cascading screens are the worst thing that can happen to a phone.

Somehow … moreYes, I also see a slight resemblance, and perhaps Huawei intended it to be so, as they have had a partnership with Leica in the past. The white color also brings out the curved screen wonderfully and while I go for black, white looks great on this phone. In my opinion, this is what flagship phones should look like

I like the design. The camera layout certainly looks a lot better than the rumored pentagon layout.
Personally, I prefer the P series, but am still looking forward to seeing how this Mate turns out.
