What better way to end 2020 than with a ton of new game announcements? That’s what you can expect when you watch The Game Awards, presented by Geoff Keighley. As the name implies, this is also when individuals and companies receive accolades for their work in creating the best games of the year. It will be hard to beat last year’s presentation of the Xbox Series X, but there should still be some surprises that we won’t see coming.
Unlike previous years, this event is online only, so there will be no attendees. That should speed up the distribution of prizes, giving way to game announcements. It’s what we’re all looking for, right? Here’s how you can tune it in.
When do the Game Awards start?
Everything is happening on Thursday, December 10. You can tune in directly at 7pm ET / 4pm PT if you don’t want to watch any of the previous shows. Get there half an hour early if you do.
Where can I see the Game Awards?
The best question is where can you no watch the Game Awards? The ceremony / conference will take place on YouTube (which is where you’ll want to watch the exclusive 4K HDR stream), as well as on Twitch. Twitter, Facebook Live and many more places. You can watch it on Steam or through Oculus Venues if you feel like seeing it in virtual reality. If you live outside of the US, this is where the Game Awards will be broadcast in your region.
