Sacha Baron Cohan plays Borat Sagdiyev, a Kazakh journalist, in Borat Post Movie on Amazon Prime Video today, October 23.
In the first film, Borat was sent to the United States by the Kazakh Ministry of Information to make a documentary on the “World’s Largest Country”. In this sequel, he returns to America after serving a sentence for embarrassing his country. Now a recognizable figure, he will have to try on some costumes to fit in with Americans. In the suit, he’s ready for his real job: chatting up President “McDonald” Trump across Kazakhstan.
To win the favor of the president, he will try to gift his daughter Tutar to “Deputy Prime Minister” Mike Pence. Through this experience, Tutar will be exposed to completely foreign American customs, and will find herself pregnant and in an abortion clinic.
Along the way, Borat will meet (and, of course, prank) Americans, including some American politicians. Trump’s own personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, makes a controversial appearance in this film that continues Borat’s legacy of exaggerated humor and American satire.
