Once you are done with the Jingle tasks, you can begin this part. But you won’t even be able to give a resident a gift unless the gift is wrapped in gift wrap! You can use any wrapping paper you want, including festive wrapping paper. If you don’t have any, talk to a villager and they will give you 3, but then you will have to buy yours.
It is impossible to give a resident the “wrong” gift! They will appreciate everything you give them, so Anhka will be perfectly happy to receive a dinosaur toy. After all, that’s what the season is all about – it’s you that counts!
As a thank you for giving them a gift, your villagers will give you a gift of their own; There is no correlation between the toy you give to a villager and the toy you give in return. However, they will always be a different color from the toys you can buy at Nook’s Cranny during the holiday season. This is great for those who want to collect all the Puppy Plushie variants!
