Will Smith announced on Instagram Sunday that the home of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” would be available for rent on Airbnb.
Starting September 29, Los Angeles County residents will have the opportunity to reserve a stay at the home in a group of up to two. The five available dates, which will only cost $ 30 in honor of the program’s 30th anniversary, are October 2, October 5, October 8, October 11 and October 14.
During each overnight stay, guests will have access to the wing of the house where Smith’s character crashed, as well as a poolside living room and dining room. The bedroom includes a basketball net and there will be a turntable for playing classic songs. Other benefits include access to Will’s wardrobe and a virtual welcome from DJ Jazzy Jeff.
Due to COVID-19, those selected must prove their residency in Los Angeles County and be from the same household. The rental will comply with CDC rules and will also follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol.
The Airbnb experience is decorated with graffiti and family portraits, and Philly cheese steak will be served.
For fans outside of the Los Angeles area, DJ Jazzy Jeff will also offer an Airbnb online experience teaching guests some tips and tricks for DJing. Fans can request to reserve the $ 100 session here, and the actual event will take place on October 1.
And as part of the celebration, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. Check out the Airbnb page for the house “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” here.
