HMD has revived two more Nokia classics with the Nokia 6300 4G and the Nokia 8000 4G. The phones run KaiOS, which comes with many useful apps like WhatsApp, Google Maps, and Assistant. In the case of the 6300 4G, the design is almost identical to the previous version from 2006, but the Nokia 8000 4G does not come with the slide-out keyboard found on previous 8000 series devices.

The 6300 4G features a 2.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The body is made of plastic and there is a single VGA camera on the back.

It includes a Snapdragon 210 chipset and 4GB internal storage, although there is a microSD slot for easy expansion. The 1,500 mAh battery is removable and charges via microUSB. Nokia claims that the phone can last up to 25 days on standby with 4G enabled. Other extras include a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio receiver, and Wi-Fi access point functionality.

The Nokia 6300 4G comes in Light Charcoal, White and Cyan Green colors and retails for € 49 ($ 58).

Nokia 8000 4G

Nokia’s 8000 series has always offered a more premium finish and build than regular models, but that’s only true with the 8000 4G. It’s still made of plastic, albeit with a noticeable curvature and a chrome frame finish that adds a more premium look and feel. The Onyx Black and Citrine Gold colourways are clear nods to the days of the Nokia 8800 Arte series.

We have a 2.8-inch screen with QVGA resolution (320 x 240 pixels) on the front, while the rear houses a 2MP fixed camera. The Snapdragon 210 chipset sits at the helm along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is again expandable. You also get Wi-Fi access point functionality, a headphone jack, and FM radio.

The 1,500 mAh battery is charged via microUSB. It is rated for up to 25 days on standby with 4G connectivity. Along with the Onyx Black and Citrine Gold colors, the 8000 4G is available in Opal White and Topaz Blue. The retail price is set at 79 euros ($ 93).
