My personal end-of-year stats on Switch
I’m always surprised to see my end-of-year stats on Nintendo Switch, but this year it takes the cake. Note that for a living I report on Nintendo Switch, this year it forced me to stay indoors longer than usual, and I definitely spent a large chunk of the year working on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons guides, so my stats there are many. higher than the average gamer in 2020.
According to Nintendo’s Review of the Year, I spent over 693 hours playing 47 different Switch games in 2020. And apparently I played Switch more in April, just as Animal Crossing was becoming a phenomenon.
