There is something magical about writing that date there. Here I am, writing about an event that will take place very soon, but that will take place in 2021. We will start the new year with some free games, as we start every month but particularly portentous here at the end of 2020. Sony just announced the free games for PlayStation Plus for January 2021, available for PS4 and PS5. We’ll see.
Man eater: It is a game where you play a shark that eats people. That is the essence! Man eater It is currently at a 70 on Metacritic, but there’s a ton of variance represented there, with one output going as far as to give it a perfect score and another going down to 40. The consensus is that it’s a great silly action game, and If you want to spend some time like a shark that eats people, this is an excellent opportunity to do so. It also has a full upgrade system and things like that, and I’ll be excited to see this one.
It should be noted that this is your PS5 game for December – it’s a cross-gen title, but there is a PS5 version available, and that’s what you get here. It’s also available on PS4, but you won’t get it for free unless you have a PS5
Shadow of the Tomb Raider: He’s not the most beloved of Lara Croft’s reboot trilogy, but he had some stiff competition in the form of tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. This is the game that tries to deal with the strangeness of Lara Croft, a supposed heroine who is also a wealthy aristocrat who goes around stealing priceless artifacts for fun. It doesn’t do the best job at it, but it’s still a solid action title that holds up perfectly well, it’s just not on the same level as those other games.
Greedfall: This is one of those games that pops up every now and then, but I haven’t seen yet. Reviews praise it as an old-school RPG, in which you embark on a magical new world and, as is the way with these things, forge your destiny while going about your business with magic, diplomacy, fighting and all that. other RPG stuff. Sounds like a good winter game to dive into, so I can finally give it a try.
