Nintendo’s Indie World team has revealed its list of the best-selling indie games for Nintendo Switch in 2020.
While the unranked list does not include any details in terms of units sold, it features popular indie titles such as hell, Ori and the will of the Wispsand Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin.
Other games that made the list include Streets of Rage 4, Spiritfarer, Move, Carrion, What is golf?, Shantae and the seven mermaids, Super Mega Baseball 3, Superliminal, The Jackbox 7 Party Pack, Kentucky Route Zero, Cross code, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 and Neon abyss.

hell also secured the number 3 spot in NMEList of the 20 best games of 2020 with Ewan Wilson praising the game for incorporating the death cycles of the players into the narrative: “Dying in a race is not a failure, but it opens the story more and develops your character even more and their relationships. “
The game, which also won Best Indie Game and Best Action Game awards at this year’s The Game Awards, recently received its cross-save update earlier this month. The update now allows players to transfer save files between Nintendo Switch and PC.
Nintendo Of America president Doug Bowser previously squashed rumors of a “professional” version of the Switch. He noted that while the Switch is in its fourth year, “we believe we are in the middle of this lifecycle on this platform.”
