Capcom has released six minutes of the new game Monster Hunter Rise.
The video below gives us a brief overview of the flow of a hunt, wielding a Great Sword and with two Palamutes. The target is the Aknosom wyvern bird, in the sanctuary ruins. “Aknosom is a tricky foe,” Capcom said, “but luckily, the Great Sword has some new tricks up its sleeve.”

Monster Hunter Rise is the exclusive Nintendo Switch entry in the hit series, which will be released on March 26, 2021.
It’s the series’ debut on Capcom’s RE Engine, in fact it’s the RE Engine’s debut on the Switch, and the first dedicated Monster Hunter suitable for Nintendo’s hybrid device after the 3DS Generations port in 2018.
