Infinite Halo Developer 343 Industries has shared new concept art for the upcoming game, including a look at one of the campaign’s enemies, Jega ‘Rdomnai.
Leading to Halo landmark blog, the developer shared new artwork from concept artist David Heidhoff, who also worked on the art featured on Halo 5: Guardians. The first piece of concept art introduces players to Jega ‘Rdomnai, a member of The Banished, which is the evil faction of aliens who will take on Master Chief in Infinite Halo.
The 343 Industries official description of the new character lists him as a “mysterious and battle ravaged Sangheili warrior.” While Jega ‘Rdomnai’s abilities have not been revealed, the elite blade master can be seen wielding a plasma sword in concept art.
“The history of the sword master is shrouded in rumors and half-truths. Some say it was an experiment, an affront to their own kind. Others mention that a clandestine ambush went wrong, ”the blog reads. “Very few know the truth, fewer still talk about it. One thing is for sure: he has hunted demons before, and as the first recruit received into the Hand of Atriox, he will do so again. “
The second piece of concept art shows Master Chief’s new GEN3 Mark VII Mjolnir suit. “Although it represents a generational leap for the Mjolnir platform for actively deployed Spartans, some items tested with GEN1 and GEN2 Mark VII remain in the prototype stage due to lack of reliability or cost factors, such as the integration of Forerunner-derived nanomachine elements. and form of shield ”, says 343.
The blog post also summarized details on what players can expect from the game’s campaign. The developer noted that Infinite Halo Will follow the events of Halo 5: Guardians, focusing on the Master Chief and his fight against the Outcasts in Installation 07.
Meanwhile, the Outcasts will be led by a warchief named Escharum. Another new character appearing in Infinite Halo is the mysteriously named pilot, who is a member of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) who needs the help of the Master Chief.
In other Infinite Halo News, 343 Industries has hired two franchise veterans to help oversee the completion of the project following its recently announced delay, and has appointed long-time collaborator Certain Affinity as co-developer.
Infinite Halo It is currently scheduled for release in 2021.
