Although it’s likely to hit all Google-made phones in a couple of weeks, in case you don’t get the update notification, you can manually download the OTA.

Many improvements have been seen in the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. The update provides the fix for a bug that prevents phone calls while using Android Audio. Some users had problems with the automatic brightness response on the Pixel 5. The new patch solved the problem in “certain outdoor lighting conditions”, along with “inconsistent touch sound in certain conditions”.

The Pixel 4a has received a fix for better touch response when using certain specific screen protectors. Also, mid-range phones from Google and Pixel 4, Pixel XL will stop hearing choppy sound during playback in some apps. Google received feedback from users of the Pixel 4 series with complaints that the screen was going dark during phone calls. This issue has also been fixed in the November update.

Apart from these few updates, all models have received some additional improvements. A preventive fix was implemented for “unintentional deletion of playlists in Youtube Music”. A bug was preventing ringer audio for starred contacts in Do not disturb mode which has been resolved. In addition, the error that caused the screen to wake up after locking the device under certain conditions has been fixed. Lastly, a solution has been introduced for hidden browsing during full screen media playback.

Google phone users can read the instructions to check the security patch level of their device.
