Google Chrome for Mac M1 is now available – here’s how to get it

Google Chrome is finally available for Apple’s new Macs with its M1 chip after some hurdles. The company had to pause the release yesterday after many users complained about glitches in the app.

The Big G released the popular browser tuned for Apple’s new chips yesterday. But the people who downloaded it, we couldn’t use it because it was constantly crashing. Later, Chrome engineer Mark Chang said that paused the release for nowand issued a solution for users who already downloaded it.

Last night, Chang said that the issues are now resolved and you can download a stable version of the browser built for M1 chips.

If you want to download the browser, go to this link from your desktop and click on the Download Chrome button. You will see a dialog box popping up to choose a suitable version for your Mac.
