The PS4 action adventure game Tsushima ghost It will receive a free update later this month that will add multiplayer content for groups of up to four players, as well as some changes to the quality of life of the main single-player experience. The release date for the highly anticipated multiplayer mode, titled Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, was revealed today in a trailer and detailed breakdown on the official PlayStation blog.
Legends It will allow you to participate in two-player story missions and four-player survival missions, as well as Raid content that will be released some time after the update is released. When you start a multiplayer session, you can select from four different character classes based on your preferred play style: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. In addition to multiplayer content, the update will add a highly anticipated New Game +, allowing players to start a new game with all of their upgrades and gear unlocked. This is great news for people who have already completed the single player game and thoroughly scoured the map for all the secrets of the game. Additionally, New Game + rewards you with a special horse and saddle, as well as new dyes and toilet gear that can only be found in a New Game + match.
If you haven’t played Tsushima ghost however, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a cross between a samurai epic and Assassin’s creed, with a beautiful open world to explore and satisfying swordplay that rewards skillful execution. The action is a lot of fun, but I’ll also regularly find myself admiring the scenery and the game’s relaxing musical score. Check out the update when it’s available October 16 and click here to read Collider’s review of the base game.
