Genshin Impact it’s mine and the latest gaming obsession of around 17 million people A gorgeous free open world RPG, its gameplay revolves around building your adventure team. To make money Genshin Impact use a gacha system to unlock weapons and characters. Unsurprisingly, this is the only way to get some of the best weapons and characters. But for one part, you can grind and earn Pirogems for a couple of rolls on your own. If you’re having trouble with this, be sure to read our guide on how to get more Pirogems.
So far I’ve had no luck with Diluc and Xiangling, some of the best Pyro carriers in the game, and I’m still stuck with Amber. But all that could change with the introduction of Genshin Impact first new character since the game was released. Klee is a new 5 star Pyro and the Catalyst character and will appear in the next gacha banner.
the Klee Flag along with the new Invocation of the epitome it will replace the old Venti banner. Launch in October 20, 1800 (server time), until November 9.
What does the Gacha banner mean?
For those of you who haven’t gotten into the math of Genshin Impact gacha system, 5 star character drop rates are very low. Or a 0.6% chance to be exact. With the banner this means that there will be a 50% chance that the 5 star will be Klee rather than one of the others. But after 90 tries, a 5-star character is guaranteed. You don’t want to know how much 90 attempts cost.
Three 4-star characters will also have a 50% enhanced chance rate are Xingqiu, Sucrose, and Noelle.
Marginal note: miHoYo has already confirmed that the ongoing pity counter carries from one gacha banner for a limited time to another. For example, if you’ve already made 50 runs of the Venti banner without getting a 5-star, your pity counter for the Klee banner will start at 50. So there’s only 40 more left to get that guaranteed character return, yay.
Introducing Klee
If you were one of the first beta testers of Genshin Impact You may have tried Klee from the beginning. It was present during the second and third closed beta tests and was previously playable during Story Quest – The Mystery of the Girl in Red’s Treasure. It is now fully available on today’s Sparkling Steps banner.
Klee is an explosives expert for the Knights of Favonius. Unfortunately, we hardly see her because she is often locked in the confinement room for blowing things up. Using a catalyst as her primary weapon, also known as magic like Mona, Lisa, and Barbara, she deals high area of effect damage.
Normal attacks
For his normal attack, Klee launches 3 explosive fireballs that explode on impact dealing AoE damage. Its charged attack consumes a certain amount of stamina as it charges and then deals a large amount of AoE damage. These two attacks are aptly named Kaboom.
For his swoop attack, Klee builds up power and throws himself down from the air, damaging all enemies in his path. Grants AoE Pyro DMG on impact with the ground.
Elemental skills
His elemental attack is called “Jumpy dumpty“. When launching this attack, Klee unleashes a bag of fire that bounces three times, dealing damage with each hit. At the end of the third bounce, it exploded in many small mines. Now these mines are great because they operate in 3 ways.
Either they explode on impact or automatically after a short time. However, other than that, you can also use Ameno to gather these little mines into a clot and throw them at an enemy. This causes a large amount of AoE damage. Therefore, pair Klee with Jean, Venti, or other types of Anemo. To see how all the elements in Genshin Impact Work together, you can check out our elemental guide here.
Finally, as its ultimate, Klee’s has its Elemental blast called “Sparks n Splash”. Using this ability, Klee summons sparks and splashes and deals a large amount of AoE damage to enemies over a period of time.
Passive talents
Klee isn’t quite as team-friendly as, say, Jean or Venti because his abilities don’t really help his teammates directly. However, he does have a couple of nice liabilities to increase his own damage. The first is ‘Striking surprise‘- When it comes to normal attack or throw damage’Jumpty dumpty‘, Klee has a 50% chance of getting an explosive spark. This Explosive Spark is consumed by the next Charged Attack, which costs no Stamina and deals 50% more DMG.
The next passive talent is called ‘Sparkling explosion‘where Klee’s charged attack results in a CRIT, all party members gain 2 elemental energy. It’s mildly helpful, but not great if you’re looking for more support for your team. Lastly, as a small passive ability, it shows the location of nearby Mondstadt-exclusive resources on the minimap.
