Genshin Impact Guide: What is a Wish Banner? Explanation of the gatcha system

[ad_1]

As you progress in Genshin Impact, you’ll want to expand your roster of characters using the Wish system.

If you want to make wishes, you will need Intertwined Destinations or Known destinations, depending on the banner in which you want to include the wish.

Earned by completing quests, opening treasure chests, and plunging into the Spiral Abyss, First Gems can be converted to Either Destinations or Known Destinations, with one destination for every 160 First Gems. We’ll talk about which ones to get with your Primogems in a moment.

Every time you use a Fate, you also get Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter, which can be exchanged for more Fates, as well as upgrade materials for your characters.

You can also buy Genesis Crystals for real money, which can be turned into Primogems (which can then be turned into Fates).

All Wish posters guarantee a four-star or better item in 10 runs. Wishes can be made one at a time or 10 at a time, although there is almost no difference as to how many you make at once, other than how long it takes. You’ll get all four stars guaranteed, even if you shoot one at a time, so if you’re not in a rush, that’s your best bet.

Please note that this is gambling and it can cost a lot of money or money to get the character you’re looking for. (Play responsibly, if you wish!)

Character Event Wish Banners explained (Intertwined Destinations)

Character event wish banners They are the best banners for obtaining characters, as each Five Star Wish obtained from them will be a guaranteed character (instead of a weapon).

But it should be noted that the odds of summoning a five-star character are very low, only 0.6% per wish. If you keep using Wishes without getting a five-star, you’re guaranteed to get a five-star character on your 90th Wish for a given banner, also known as the pity rate. Just keep in mind that the character you get as your guaranteed five stars may not be the main character on the banner (or even on the banner). If that happens, the next five-star character you summon is guaranteed to be the featured character on that banner.

Gun Event Wish Banners focus on weapons. Most players will not want to appear on this banner unless they have all the characters they want.

This banner does not have five-star characters, but it can still give four-star characters.

Like character event wish posters, these have a pity rate, although it’s slightly different here. If you don’t roll a five-star weapon within 79 Wishes, your 80th Wish will be a five-star weapon, guaranteed. If the weapon obtained is not one of the featured weapons, you will get one of those in your next Five Star Wish.

These banners change to present different weapons. The pity still carries over.

The standard wish banner It has characters and weapons, which makes it less likely that you will get out of it. The launch rate for any five-star weapon or character is still low at 0.6%, and even though the banner has two large character images, those characters do not have a higher spawn rate.

Like the Interlocking Fate banners, there is a 90 wish guarantee to get a five-star character or weapon. Since no character or weapon has a higher spawn rate, there is no guarantee for a specific character or item on this banner. Too bad the other banners don’t apply to this banner.
