Lesquin, December 4, 2020 – NACON and Big Ant Studios are pleased to announce that a special edition of World tennis tour 2 It will be available on next-gen consoles. This edition will include the base game, additional content, and gameplay improvements. World tennis tour 2 will be available in March 2021 on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation®5.
The content of the Annual Pass is also revealed. In addition to the DLC with official stadiums, now available, the Annual Pass includes 3 DLC packs that will be available in the next 4 months.
The second major DLC, available today, adds two new players: American Sofia Kenin and Karolina Plíšková from the Czech Republic. 2 DLCs will be released in January and March and will include a variety of additional content: a new tournament, 8 new players, new stadiums, teams and clothing.
World tennis tour 2 invites fans to play a realistic game of tennis that faithfully transcribes the specifics of the sport and its competitive nature. Many aspects of the game have been completely redesigned, and having more animations has increased the fluidity and realism of the game.
World tennis tour 2 will offer the most complete tennis experience:
- Long-awaited new features: the ability to play doubles matches with up to 4 players locally and online, a competitive mode, an improved service system, and a new shooting time mechanic
- More realistic: more animations create a smoother game
- Multiple game modes: Race, Quick Match, Online, Tournament, Ranked Match and Tie Break Tens – there is a format to suit each player
- Various official courts: The Manolo Santana Stadium of the Mutua Madrid Open, the OWL ARENA in Halle or the 3 courts at Roland-Garros: Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen and Simonne-Mathieu
- 48 renowned players: the most famous players are part of this year’s casting, including Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Ashleigh Barty
- A next generation version with technical and game improvements
