A photo of a smartphone believed to be Samsung Electronics’ next-generation strategic smartphone, the Galaxy S21 Ultra, was leaked with its specifications.
WinFuture, a German information technology (IT) media outlet, released the image on December 18 (local time), and said it got a photo and specs of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra in the photo is 6.8 inches tall, 0.1 inches smaller than the Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, as it uses a flat panel with a reduced curved part, it offers the same screen size as the previous model. It uses metal for its frame and a glass material for its back.
According to the WinFuture report, the Galaxy S21 Ultra features a 2X 20: 9 AMOLED display (515 ppi) and an injection rate of 120 Hz.
The back has four cameras, including 108 million pixel sensors loaded with the Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) function. It’s also loaded with a 40-million-pixel front-facing camera along with a laser autofocus (AF) device that will replace a 3D time-of-flight (ToF) sensor, a 12-million-pixel ultra-wide camera, and two telescopic cameras.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will ship with the Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888 application processor, 12 gigabytes (GB) of RAM, a 5,000 millimeter-ampere-hour (mAh) battery, and 45W high-speed charging. Its internal storage capacities are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The model does not have a separate microSD card slot and excludes AKG headphones.
In particular, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the only model with an S Pen among the Galaxy S21 series. However, unlike the Galaxy Note series, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has no place to insert the S Pen. Some experts say it will be sold as part of separate or silicone accessories and smart clear visor covers.
