A new batch of Fortnite leaks may point to a collaboration with Halo, the massively multiplayer online game. And the collaboration could bring Master Chief to Fortnite Island.
What’s going on?
Leakers and data miners recently shared photos of what appears to be Master Chief on the Fortnite menu, according to Polygon.
Other images show Master Chief’s vehicles, which include the Warthog and the Pelican. These vehicles have been quite common throughout the Fortnite franchise.
Leakers said the photos date back to the 4Chan social media app.
I have traced the source of this original image to 4Chan.
A guy who posted it anonymously claims he has a friend who works on epic and he was right about Salty Towers and Mandalorian Mythics.

Should you believe these leaks?
Fortnite has long collaborated with outside franchises. Working with Halo could be related to Microsoft pushing back the release date of the new Halo Infinite game to 2021 instead of the 2020 holiday season, The Verge reports. The game would serve as an early promotion for the new game.
The leaks appear to be part of Fortnite lore. For example, a few weeks ago, leakers discovered that the Mandalorian could be coming to Fortnite for season 5. In fact, the Mandalorian appeared as an unlockable character in the game this week, as I wrote for Deseret News.
