‘Fortnite’ could follow its Marvel season with a DC season

Fortnite has done the unthinkable and released a fully licensed Marvel-themed season with eight Battle Pass skins and one that is already hitting the store, Silver Surfer, now in store.

It stands to reason that it will release a ton more when the season ends, and the “plot” for this season is Marvel heroes and Fortnite characters coming together to take on Galactus and stop him from eating the island or whatever. is trying to do.

All this talk from Marvel makes me wonder what will come next, and if Fortnite will become a full Metaverse and solicit Marvel’s biggest rival, DC, for an upcoming themed season, possibly even mixing the two together.

Both Marvel and DC have been competing for Fortnite appearances for over a year. While Marvel is now in the lead thanks to this season, DC has had plenty of appearances of its own in the past. Hell, Gotham City was even briefly a POI on the map.

What would a DC season look like? One problem is that the game already has its fair share of “heavy hitters” in the game, which leaves me wondering who would make a battle pass or store skins.

So far we have:

• Catwoman
• Harley quinn
• Aquaman

They’re all in the game, and it has been revealed that Joker and Poison Ivy are part of a bundle that will be sold this November in time for the holiday season.

So what would a DC season’s battle pass look like? The biggest names I can think of from the DC side to fill that in would be:

• Superman
• Wonder Woman
• The flash
• Green Lantern
• Supergirl
• Green Arrow
• Martian Detective
• Secret Skin: I don’t know, let’s say Nightwing.

In terms of a big threat like Galactus, Darkseid is the obvious choice, and I can already imagine us fighting his flying minions on the map.

Beyond these, other potentially popular skins that could be in the battle pass or in the store:

• Robin
• Bat girl
• Riddle
• Perdition
• Scarecrow
• Raven
• Fire star
• Shazam
• Lex luthor
• Black canary
• Cyborg
• Sinestro
• death Punch
• Red hood

And depending on how loose DC feels with the Watchmen license, it has:

• Doctor manhattan
• Rorschach
• Night Owl
• Silk spectrum
• Comedian

I mean I could go on forever. I would say that the fact that this Joker package arrives in November implies to me that maybe Fortnite may To be thinking about releasing a DC season at that point as this is about when this current Marvel season would end. But we haven’t seen any indicators that it’s happening other than the simple fact that DC clearly wants to keep this collaboration going.

I think it would be great and obviously there is infinite potential for skins here that will definitely bankrupt me if they make it into the game. I don’t see any reason why DC wouldn’t agree to appear in a season, and obviously Fortnite would love for that to happen. So yes, maybe. But maybe not right away.
