The popular Battle Royale game is starting its next season soon, which means potential map changes, new character skins, and an end-of-season event.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Season 6.
When does season 6 start?
The likely starting date is Tuesday, March 16, as Season 5 is scheduled to end on March 15. Epic generally has an in-game event ending the season, but so far, they haven’t released any details yet.

What is the theme of season 6?
We do not know yet. Season 5 was filled with the best hunters in all realities, hence the star-studded cast of The Mandalorian, Master Chief, Black Panther, Kratos, and even Michonne and Darryl from The Walking Dead.
Season 6 is likely to focus again on Zero Point, which is an orb that is the center of reality. Players have already noticed that the orb appears to be cracked this week. What happens when it is fully opened remains a mystery.
What happened in season 5?
This season was one of the longest, lasting 15 weeks. During those weeks, Agent John Jones, a member of the Imagined Order organization, traveled to different realities to recruit hunters in order to prevent anyone from escaping the Loop through Zero Point. Every week a new hunter from pop culture universes such as Halo, Star Wars, Street Fighter, Aliens, GI Joe, DC Comics and Marvel was revealed.
Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5Xbox One Xbox Series, Switch and Android. It is not yet available for iOS and Mac devices due to a legal battle between Apple and Epic Games.
