Forget GTA 6 Release Date, Rockstar Linked To Another Grand Theft Auto Rumor | Games Entertainment

Forget the recent rumors about the GTA 6 release date because the latest “leak” suggests that another Grand Theft Auto project is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

For now, all of this appears to come from an Amazon listing image that apparently includes GTA IV Complete Edition on PS5.

We couldn’t find the same listing on Amazon, with images of the reported listing appearing on multiple sites.

And it should be noted that this latest report should be taken with a pinch of salt, as there is no way of knowing if this is real or part of a hoax.

Forbes summarizes the latest leak, adding: “The rumor appears to come from an Amazon retail ‘leak’ that is circulating.

“We see these things all the time for all kinds of reasons, whether they are real or retouched, and even the real ones can sometimes come from some weird auto-generating algorithm.

“So no, I don’t think it’s a real or reliable leak. It’s more of an opportunity to consider the fact that yeah, this looks like something that could happen. “

It is interesting to note that this “new” listing comes with illustrations and a full description, as well as a price tag.

Most of the Amazon leaks come as a placeholder, which makes this one very different from others in the past.

Fans have been talking about GTA IV on PS5 this week since the leak emerged, and some will be waiting for more information.

One user posted online: “The probability of leaks like this where all we got is a screenshot of the fake web shop page is 99%. If it was real, the first person who discovered it would have shared the link for others to see before they removed it.

“All of these Rockstar remastering leaks are probably bogus, but Rockstar has one of the largest previous charts of any developer / publisher.

“They could remaster just about anything from their old catalog, and it would probably sell out massively, I wonder why they haven’t, they put most of it on iOS phones.”

Rockstar Games has been primarily tied to a variety of different GTA 6 speculations, primarily related to the new game’s setup and when it might release.

The only downside to all of this is that the latest news from sources suggests that GTA 6 is still years away from its release.

And unless things change, the Grand Theft Auto VI release date is not expected to be announced until the second half of 2021.

And even after that, the game may not hit shelves until 2022, which is the longest wait yet for a Grand Theft Auto game.

To fill that gap will be a next-gen version of GTA 5, as well as various expansions for GTA Online.

And if this rumor was to be believed, there would also be a new version of GTA IV to buy on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
