Fans of Final Fantasy 14 I just got a sneak peek at what the game will look like on PlayStation 5, courtesy of a recent Square Enix livestream. An open beta for the current-gen version of Square’s popular MMORPG was announced earlier this week with a release scheduled for April 13, although the full game won’t be released until much later in the year.

Among the new functions that are being incorporated Final fantasy 14 on the PS5 are significantly faster load times, smoother frame rates, and “true” 4K resolution support. In addition, this beta version will include many other improvements thanks to the innovative hardware of the PS5, such as haptic feedback that simulates environmental factors in the game such as raindrops and 3D audio technology that allows a more immersive sound from different sources and directions.

As reported by Rant game the present day, Final fantasy 14 Producer and director Naoki Yoshida showed off some footage from the game running on PlayStation 5 on a special Letter from the Producer broadcast. This footage, which can be viewed on YouTube, showed an excited Lalafell woman on a sandy shoreline near a hill as Yoshida discussed the jump from the standard 720 resolution to 4K graphics. It’s not the most action-packed display of the PS5’s intense graphics capabilities, and the differences can be hard to see, as the footage is restricted to a monitor next to Yoshida, but it still offers gamers a small taste of what can you expect with Final fantasy 14 on PS5.

Final fantasy 14 It has come a long way since its initial release in 2010 where it was greeted with universal mockery due to an outdated gameplay and a host of glitches and technical performance issues. Final fantasy 14 most recent game expansion, subtitled Endwalker, will be released this fall and will introduce a new character class called Sage.

From today Final fantasy 14 The livestream only briefly focused on the PS5 open beta, but it still gave fans a little preview of how the game will work on the new console.
