EA today unveiled a new Ultimate Team promotion for FIFA 21 called Deadline Day.
As the transfer window comes to an end today, EA is rewarding players who are entitled to their full game by October 9 by giving them four guaranteed Ones to View Loan Items and one untradeable TOTW player. To celebrate the launch of FIFA 21, players who jump to the full game on PS4, Xbox One, or PC before midnight PST on October 9 will receive the new Deadline package .
This includes FIFA Ultimate Team Ones to Watch Live Loan Items featuring some of the most exciting transfers of the summer, along with an untradeable Team of the Week player item.
The Deadline Day offer is available to all PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC players (including EA Play Pro members) who log in to the full version of FIFA 21 before October 9, 2020 at 11:59 a.m. pm PT.

No pre-order is required for this offer, but you will still receive the relevant pre-order bonuses if you have pre-ordered it. Offer excludes EA Play trial version of FIFA 21.
If you open your bundle while the first Ones To Watch team is in bundles (Oct 9 – Oct 16), you will receive four players from that team. If you open your package while the second team of Ones To Watch is in packages (October 16-October 21), you will receive four players from the second team. If you open your package after October 21 at 10 a.m. M. PT, you will receive four players from a combination of the 1st and 2nd squad.
Ones To Watch Loan Items are active items that dynamically update in the same way as regular Ones To Watch items when players qualify for an update via performance-based forms. Loan items from Ones To Watch will be available for four FUT matches that you can use throughout the season in FUT. The deadline package will be awarded to eligible players on or before October 16.
Players launching into FIFA 21 can also benefit from dual ownership, allowing them to upgrade their copy of the game from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X at no additional cost.
All progress made or content purchased within FIFA 21 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FIFA Points, match record, and leaderboard location) as well as all progression in VOLTA FOOTBALL will be transferred to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
EA has also confirmed that the TOTW release time will change for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Previously, the TOTW squads were revealed on social media at 3pm UK time on a Wednesday, and the TOTW squad went live in packages starting at 6pm on the same day.
However, for FUT 21, EA has confirmed that the TOTW lineups will be revealed at 6pm UK time on a Wednesday, and that the team will launch in bundles at the same time.
FIFA 21 has an official release date in the UK and around the world of October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 before this date. EA Play subscribers will be able to access a 10-hour trial of FIFA 21 starting Thursday, October 1, 2020.
If you pre-order FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, you will be playable starting October 6, 2020, with the standard edition allowing fans to play from the official game in the UK and throughout the world. release date October 9, 2020.
