In the popular Geekbench benchmark, information about the Samsung smartphone appeared, which has not yet been officially unveiled, with the code designation SM-A025G. The device is expected to hit the commercial market under the name Galaxy A02s.
It’s about preparing a low-cost basic device. The test indicates the presence of an eight-core processor with a base clock speed of 1.8 GHz and 3 GB of RAM.
Internet sources report that the smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chip. It combines ARM Cortex-A53 cores, an Adreno 506 graphics accelerator and an LTE modem with data transfer rates of up to 300 Mbps.
The device uses the Android 10 operating system. In the single-core test, the novelty showed a result of 756 points, in the multi-core test – 3934 points.
Screen and camera parameters are still under wraps. But we can assume that the smartphone will be equipped with a screen with a resolution not higher than HD +, and the main camera will receive two image sensors.
The official presentation of the Galaxy A02s can take place in the current quarter. The price is likely to be in the range of $ 100-120.
