The situation in Ethiopia
National elections in Ethiopia will be held across the country on June 5, 2021, as decided and announced by the Ethiopian National Electoral Board (NEBE).
Tigray Regional State is not included in the schedule. The electoral board announced that a date for the elections in Tigray will be announced once the state of emergency is lifted in the state of Tigray.
Military and regional situation
