Digimon Survive, a tactical role-playing game that takes place in the Digimon universe, is now delayed to 2021. The announcement was made on Twitter on Thursday, with a statement written by producer Habu Kazumasa.
“We originally planned to launch Digimon survives in 2020, but current global events have changed our development calendar and we have made the difficult decision to push Digimon survivesrelease through 2021, ”wrote Kazumasa. “We thank you all for your continued patience as we work to create a fun and engaging tactical RPG along with a memorable story for Digimon fans!”
Kazumasa also shared that there will be additional updates in “spring 2021,” so fans should “stay tuned for more information.”
Digimon survives was previously planned for a 2019 release, but the game was postponed until 2020 before this delay until 2021. For those who are eager to get into a Digimon game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and its sequel, Hacker memory, arrived on Windows and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
