After bringing in Thiago, Liverpool have completed the surprise signing of Diogo Jota from Wolves for an estimated £ 41 million.
Jota scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for the Wolves and will now give Jurgen Klopp some real options in the midfield and front line.

Jose Luis Perez Caminero
Jota joined Atlético de Madrid from Pacos de Ferreira in the summer of 2016 and immediately impressed his former sports director.

Kevin Thelwell
After battling for first-team opportunities in Madrid, former Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell helped lead Jota to Molineux in 2017.
“We were playing in the Championship, of course, so we needed someone who was aggressive, dynamic and competitive. He is all of those things, ”Thelwell told Goal in September 2020.

Phil Thompson
Thompson was stunned by Jota’s performance for the Wolves in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in November 2019.
“I think Jota could play for any of the best teams, really,” former Liverpool defender Thompson told Soccer Saturday.
“Today, he was the best player on this field by a mile. He gets his body in the middle, he’s fast, he has an assist on him, he has a goal on him.

Conor Coady
Coady was Jota’s captain during his time at the Wolves, and he praised the forward’s work pace after a 3-0 win over Norwich in February 2020.
“We know that Diogo scores goals, but everything else is what he brings to the team; all out of possession, how hard he works to get the ball back, ”Coady told the Wolves official website.

Nuno Espirito Santo
Santo brought Jota to the Wolves and gave him a warm goodbye following his £ 41 million trade to Premier League champions Jurgen Klopp.
