CD Projekt Red has already committed to submitting a series of patches to correct Cyberpunk 2077, but other than that, we will also see a variety of DLC for the game. While CD Projekt Red hasn’t detailed what we should expect from that free DLC yet, the company said that the first free DLC should arrive relatively soon.
Specifically, a new page in the Cyberpunk 2077 The website says: “Free downloadable content will start coming to Night City in early 2021.” We are told to stay tuned for more information, but beyond that, we are left to let our imagination run wild as to what this DLC could be.
The most obvious choice for the initial DLC is something that includes features that players are expected to be in the game but ultimately failed to make. This could include something like a hair salon that allows players to change their hair style and color. We could also get DLC that adds new side missions and missions, or something that adds new items and cars to the game.
Whatever this free DLC is, it will probably be of a rather lesser scope. Aside from this DLC, CD Projekt Red has a lot of work ahead of it in the coming months as it has committed to rolling out major patches for the game in both January and February. It is through these patches that the company hopes to fix the biggest problems with Cyberpunk 2077, which includes bringing it to a better state on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
