There is now a mod available that allows you to play Cyberpunk 2077 third-person on PC, but be careful, while it works in the most basic and functional sense, it’s not something you want to use for a real period of time.

The mod, created by Jelle Bakker, It can be downloaded here. Allows the player to move the camera back from Cyberpunk default first-person point of view, and allows you to not only move around but more importantly admire your outfit in the third person.

It takes a bit of work to get started, and it requires a separate code to be entered to … charge your head. Once everything is done, if you keep your movements slow and steady, it can look pretty cool!

However, if you move faster or more suddenly, things will look a little less elegant.

This is great, because if The witcher 3 (or Grand Theft Autoor Assassin’s creedor Dead red) have shown us something, is that we prefer our open world games to be in the third person so that we can see what we are wearing and have a better grounding in our environment.

But it is also no great in that this doesn’t really work since much of CyberpunkFrom its combat to its cutscenes to the player character animation, it was designed from the ground up to be experienced from a first-person perspective, so this mod is more of an occasional thing, and not a completely new way. to play the game.

If you want to try it, you can download it here.
