Olivier Giroud beat Michel Platini’s goal record in France when Les Bleus defeated Ukraine 7-1 in Paris.
Chelsea hitman Giroud raised his international tally to 42, leaving him behind only Thierry Henry at 51st on France’s all-time goalscorer list.
Eduardo Camavinga, Corentin Tolisso, Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann also joined the world champions, with Vitaliy Mykolenko scoring his own goal.
Viktor Tsygankov answered for Ukraine, but the visitors were comfortably outmatched.
Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz scored two goals, but Germany fell to a 3-3 draw with Turkey.
Havertz scored goals for Julian Draxler and Florian Neuhaus, with Luca Waldschmidt also for the German hosts.
But Turkey struck back every time Germany took the lead, with Ozan Tufan, Efecan Karaca and Kenan Karaman on the scoreboard.
Italy thrashed Moldova 6-0, Stephan El Shaarawy shot a double.

Frank De Boer’s first game in charge of the Netherlands ended in a 1-0 home loss to Mexico, which had Wolves forward Raúl Jiménez on goal from the penalty spot.
Cristiano Ronaldo hit the crossbar for Portugal, while the Wolves’ Adama Traore made his debut in Spain, but the Iberian neighbors could only muster a goalless draw in Lisbon.
West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki threw a 19-minute hat-trick as Poland beat Finland 5-1.
The hosts did not count on Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski, but the goals continued without being a problem.
Grosicki had his hat-trick at halftime, before Krzystof Piatek and Arkadiusz Milik found the net as well, while Finland could only respond via Ilmari Niskanen.
