He reasoned that a woman who recently lost the father of her children covered up the cause of death to ensure that AEW could continue to be transmitted during the pandemic. Mitchell also saw problems with AEW and Amanda keeping the lid closed during her illness.
He claimed that he had never seen a man the size of Brodie develop a lung condition that quickly and suggested that both AEW and Amanda should clarify the circumstances of his death. All this despite the fact that AEW recognized Covid cases to its talents and / or partners in the past.

The Internet Lucha Libre Community did not take kindly the way the journalist assumed the information with which he had nothing to do. Chris Hero, known as Kassius Ohno, took to Twitter to express his disgust for a man who was pointing fingers without evidence.

The job of a journalist is to ask the questions that nobody wants to ask. But sometimes, however, one has to be tactful with oneself to know when. Another important question to ask yourself is “to what end?” Why would Amanda lie to the world for the sake of AEW? Why would you allow your son to meet his father at AEW two weeks ago if Brodie was sick?
Just to make matters worse, he even throws a joke about Cody’s hair dye and it becomes apparent that not much thought was given to the article beyond the fact that it would certainly turn heads. To his credit, that is exactly what he did.
