Eric Dier was seen running through the tunnel during Tottenham’s Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea, leaving José Mourinho furious.
With 15 minutes to play and the Spurs trailing 1-0, the England man was seen walking off the field.
Many viewers believed that Dier was simply being substituted, until Mourinho was seen chasing him.

“He had to go, I knew he had to go,” Mourinho said hilariously after the game.
The Spurs defender came out of the tunnel moments later.
Reports from the ground later claimed that Dier had simply rushed to the bathroom.
Fans were taken aback and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Among the hordes of tweets, Gary Lineker, who infamously failed to make it to the facility during the 1990 World Cup, was quick to try.
Lineker tweeted: “Strange scenes as @ericdier runs off the field to the locker room, hastily followed by Mourinho.
“Then Dier runs back to resume play. Presumably he needed the toilet.
“Players just don’t shit on the field anymore. What’s wrong with them? “
It is not the first time that Dier has been thrown off the court during a cup game.
In fact, in Dier’s final national cup outing, the FA Cup penalty shootout loss to Norwich, he charged into the stands to face a fan.
The FA accused him of jumping over billboards and running through the West Stand to protect his younger brother, Patrick.
The Spurs advanced to the last eight on penalties (5-4) after a tense 1-1 draw.
Chelsea led most of the game before Erik Lamela scored in the 83rd minute to tie the score.
