Call of Duty Modern Warfare update 1.29 has been confirmed to release in the next few hours on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The large patch will certainly be a bit smaller for COD Warzone players, but it seems like everyone will need to find some extra space.

From what has been shared so far, the new Call of Duty patch will be available to download on Tuesday, November 10 in the UK.

Its timing suggests that it is connected with the release of Black Ops Cold War, which is scheduled to release on November 13.

But so far, developers Infinity Ward have not shared official patch notes. This could change in the next few hours and give us a clearer view of what is being planned.

But until then, no one knows what exactly this new patch will do in Modern Warfare and Warzone.

What we do know is that Call of Duty Modern Warfare update 1.29 will be a huge download.

This has been confirmed by PS4 players, who can now preload the new patch on their consoles.

The same feature isn’t available on Xbox One and PC, and it looks like the next Warzone update will weigh in at around 30GB.

This could be different depending on the platform you use, but it certainly looks like another bulky download is coming.

As of the information shared thus far, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare update time has been set for 11 p.m. PDT, on November 11.

Due to the time difference, this means that the next major COD Warzone patch will be available to download and install in the UK at 7am GMT on November 12.

Activision has already confirmed that Warzone will officially connect to Black Ops Cold War via a new Battle Pass in December.

A message from Activision confirms: “Warzone will continue to evolve after the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, weaving together some of the Black Ops Cold War themes, weapons and operators in this successful free Battle Royale experience.

Specifically, both games will share post-launch seasonal content through the return of the Battle Pass system and the Store, as well as sharing a progression system.

“At launch, Black Ops Cold War will include a new leveling journey that will then connect to Warzone, allowing players to unlock new functional content to use in both titles. Additionally, both games are set to share after content releases. through the return of the Battle Pass system and the Shop.

“In addition to all of the new Black Ops Cold War content, Warzone players will continue to have access to previously obtained content – weapons, operators, blueprints, equipment, cosmetics, etc., that they obtained during their Modern Warfare experiences.”

The most important thing to note, however, is that Activision has also confirmed that as of November 12, all Cold War Operators will be available to play in Warzone.

So it’s highly likely that today’s Warzone update has something to do with this upcoming crossover.
