The full patch notes were released prior to Call of Duty Modern Warfare update 1.28.
Coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms around 7am BST on October 14, 2020, the remake of the hit shooter will weigh around 10GB on consoles.
The good news is that much of today’s update will help PC gamers downsize the game.
Following the release of Modern Warfare version 1.28, PC players will be able to select what content they would like to install on their machines.
Players should know that this new option will come with certain limitations and it will not be possible to modify the installed content during the update. If your game is out of date prior to modifying your content selection, the size estimates will not be accurate.
To delete unused content on PC, follow these steps:
- 1. Open the Battle.net launcher.
- 2. Select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the left panel.
- 3. Select the Options menu at the top left of the Battle.net Launcher.
- 4. Select Modify Installation to open the installation pop-up window.
- 5. Under Game Content, select Modify Installation.
- 6. Uncheck the content you want to uninstall. (Warzone cannot be uninstalled).

- Special operations
- 7. Select Confirm.
- 8. Select Start Installation.
Other changes are also being made today that will affect players on all platforms. This includes an additional weapon tuning for both the Kar98 and SP-R 208, which recently saw a wall vulnerability removed.
Today’s update will increase the minimum ranged damage on the Kar98 in Warzone and reduce the minimum ranged damage on the SP-R 208.
There are also a number of important fixes that will help with subway death-related glitches and will also help eliminate issues with certain game elements.
As for the playlist, developers Infinity Ward are removing Blood Money Quads and replacing it with Plunder Quads.
Big changes to the playlist for Warzone are expected next week, when a new zombie mode is rumored to launch for Halloween.
