Amanda Holden was left crying after a mother and daughter appeared together in Brittany Has Talent.

Honey and Sammy from Essex will be performing at tonight’s BGT, auditioning with a cover of Lost Without You by Freya Ridings.

In a highly emotional first clip, the duo takes the stage where Honey explained to the judges why they are auditioning.

“In the past few years, my mother was diagnosed with cancer,” began the 14-year-old boy.

‘It’s been a difficult couple of years and being here with my mother is the best thing that ever happened to me.

“I never thought when my mother and I would be singing in the car that would take us to this stage.”

The couple received amazing comments from the judges, and left Amanda reaching for the scarves.

“After all you’ve been through, you deserve that moment,” said Simon.

“I’m going to remember this audition for a long, long time.”

Amanda added: “Every letter she hit and sang seemed so poignant for her story that it was the most wonderful thing to witness.”

Other acts that surprise the judges in tonight’s installment are Nora, 96, and a group of dancing turtles.
