Some of the following will be released next Thursday with the start of the season; other content will drop later.

New maps
Four new maps are heading to Black Ops Cold War in season 2. This includes a new 6v6 map, a daytime “raid” version of Miami, a new large team map, and an additional firefight map (we really need two or three new ones).
Apocalypse (6v6) (Launch Week)
“Welcome to the poster base of the Laos jungle in the heart of the Golden Triangle: Apocalypse. As Perseus forces are rumored to be hiding key information at their stronghold in Laos, the CIA’s best approach to the people is ready to extract whatever evidence they can about Nova 6’s supply line … and Adler’s whereabouts.
“This small to medium-sized map is designed for aggressive operators, funneling the action under stilt buildings and through the temple fortress. Pursue the enemy through the buildings and the temple, making sure you are not too distracted from the flash of gold being loaded onto the trucks on the main road. “
Golova (multi-team) (in season)
“Golova appears to be a traditional Russian town nestled within the picturesque plains of the Urals, but beneath its surface, it holds a dark secret embedded by its designer and creator, Nikita Dragovich.
“A testing ground for the expansion of the Numbers Program, Golova offers many hand-to-hand combat opportunities throughout the city, from a massive church to its row houses and industrial park. The tiered terrain that the city was built on still offers some long-term firefighting opportunities, but encourages a stricter game of CQB in its target areas. “
Mansion (2v2, 3v3) (seasonal)
“The action in Gunfight and Face Off is about to heat up with this mid-season addition to the map pool.
Set in Havana, Cuba, at the Hefe Mansion (last seen in the Campaign’s “End of the Line” mission), this small map takes place in both courtyards: an eastern one with two palm trees and a viewpoint, and one western with a statue sitting atop a non-functional fountain. These open courtyards are in contrast to a room wrapped in the center with a small side hallway and an exposed balcony that can serve as a risky power position.
Expect the action to be head-on and frenetic, especially when the overtime zone comes into play in the center of the main room. “
Miami Strike (6v6) (in season)
“Get up and shine, Miami… because soon, it will be time to infiltrate Ocean Park Drive for the day.
“With the sun shining on the colorful murals of Miami’s South Beach neighborhood, Miami Strike will focus the action on a smaller daytime version of the original map. Whether it’s a TDM game or a tense battle at Hardpoint, the streets of Miami are always on fire. “
New modes
Three new modes drop in Season 2.
Gun Game (All Against All)
The classic gun game is heading to multiplayer mode. In this mode, all players start with the same weapon and then every time you kill you get a new weapon and whoever goes through all the weapons first wins. It’s a lot of fun and definitely my favorite way to play a free-for-all style match.
Hardpoint (various teams)
Okay, Activision now refers to Fireteam as Multi-Team? That seems to be the case. This new mode is Hardpoint with a twist: 10 teams of four compete to hold the Hardpoint. That sounds . . . somewhere between hectic and horrible. I doubt I’m playing much of this mode in Season 2.
Arsenal (6v6)
This is a hybrid Kill Confirmed / Hardpoint mode. You collect dog tags from fallen opponents, but don’t score until you take them to a rotating storage site. We have seen this mode many times before. It can be a lot of fun or just ridiculously frustrating. When you wear a bunch of tags and they kill you right before you deposit them. . . it’s not fun.
New weapons and gifts
Lots of new weapons and a new points streak are on the way in Season 2. We will receive new weapons, a crossbow and a new melee weapon, although not all at the beginning of the season.
The first two will be free tiers in the Season 2 Battle Pass. The rest can be earned by completing a challenge or purchasing blueprints from the Item Shop.
FARA 83: Assault Rifle (Launch Week)
“This fully automatic assault rifle is a heavy hitter among its peers, claiming to have one of the fastest rates of fire in its class and an outstanding effective range for solid damage. In the hands of a capable operator, the FARA 83 can be a true force in crushing the opposition.
“Get free FARA 83 to use in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone at level 15 of the Season 2 Battle Pass, simply by playing.”
LC10: SMG (Launch Week)
“A complete fully automatic machine gun, the LC10 grants CQB operators the ability to extend fights to mid-range on a smaller, more agile weapon platform thanks to its solid accuracy and extended effective damage range. Although its damage per shot is at the lower end of the SMG spectrum, its above-average rate of fire and lower recoil can be a deadly combination.
“Get the free LC10 to use in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone at Level 31 of the Season Two Battle Pass, just by playing.”
Electronic Tool: Melee (in season)
“Put your enemy six feet underground with the E-Tool, a military-style triple shovel typically used for digging a defensive combat position. Recently modernized for the wars of the late 1920sth century, the E-Tool is considered a standard problem for soldiers around the world for its usefulness. But as a secondary weapon, it is as effective as an auxiliary weapon in very confined spaces. “
R1 Shadowhunter: Special (Seasonal)
“The simple, lightweight design of this crossbow allows for excellent handling and quieter removals. If an operator does not prefer their iron sights, they can still shoot accurately from the hip in tight spaces or choose to connect one of several optics. Happy hunting. “
ZRG 20mm: Sniper (in season)
Designed for snipers who need the power to take out targets at extremely long ranges, this bolt-action sniper rifle boasts faster bullet speed than any other weapon in its class, as well as the ability to take out operators with a single shot. to the head, chest or shoulders in exchange for a slower rate of fire. Their reload speeds are among the fastest in the category, allowing snipers to quickly change magazines when faced with multiple hostile forces. “
Apart from that, we will get two new vehicles, the Sedan and the Light Truck, in addition to the Death Machine Scorestreak in which players are equipped with a high-powered minigun (which will also arrive in Zombies mode).
Season 2 will also include a Battle Pass that covers both Cold War Y War zone. Includes new operators and operator skins, new weapons (free) and much more. Here’s the trailer:
Finally, players will now be able to level up their prestige up to 11. Here’s how it works:
• Level 50: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Weapon Blueprint and Battle Pass Level Jump
• Level 100: New level jump for Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key and Battle Pass
• Level 150: New level jump for Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key and Battle Pass
• Level 190: All available seasonal challenges
• Level 200: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Battle Pass Level Jump, Master Prestige Business Card
• Level 250-1,000: New prestige key every 50 levels
