Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is scheduled for release next week, and fans of the series are unhappy with the exclusive PlayStation benefits.
Following the announcement of the PlayStation-exclusive Zombies Onslaught mode, Activision detailed the benefits that PS4 and PS5 players will receive in a PlayStation Blog Send.
These include additional level jumps for players who purchase the Battle Pass Pack, 25% weapon experience for PlayStation players who race together at parties, exclusive double experience weekends, and two additional loading slots.

Fans have expressed their frustration via Reddit and Twitter, in what they see as an unfair advantage that will only be available to a single playerbase platform.
There is also a strong fan thread declaring that the bonuses are potentially “anti-consumer”. Many others feel that exclusives have less to do with offering “legitimate incentives,” but that features could have been removed from other platforms.
While exclusivity is nothing new for games like Call of Duty, fans are still upset that even the core parts of the game, like uploads, are affected by the ad.
Others are frustrated that it effectively makes their battle passes redundant, as additional level jumps for PlayStation are included with the paid pass, while others compare class limitations to mobile gameplay style additions.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War It will be released on November 13 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
