Black Ops Cold War ‘and’ Warzone ‘Season 1 Delayed: Here’s What To Expect

[ad_1]

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s The first season has been delayed.

This comes after season 6 of Modern war Y War zone they were extended until December.

Cold War first season, which sees it integrated directly with free-to-play War zone, has been postponed from December 10 to December 16. That’s just under a week, so it’s not a big deal.

The reason seems to be related to time. Activision is delaying the start of the season because there is so much new content in the update that it takes a few more days to ensure a smooth launch.

The new content includes a new Black Ops-themed Warzone map and the addition of a ton of Black Ops Cold War weapons to the Battle Royale mode.

In addition to the new Warzone content, Black Ops Cold War will see a ton of new 6v6 maps, a massive new Fireteam map, and four new 2v2 Gunfight maps. Black Ops 2’s classic map, Raid, will be part of the Season 1 content release.

All of that is completely free, as are the new “free” weapons included in the Season 1 Battle Pass. Players will have to pay for the Battle Pass, but the weapons are always in the free tiers.

New Zombies modes and multiplayer modes are also scheduled to launch during Season 1.

In addition to the delay, Activision is running a 2XP event to Black Ops Cold War players from 10 am PT on Saturday, December 12 until the launch of the first season. The company is also giving away two free packs that include operator skins, weapon blueprints and more between December 8 at 10 AM PT and December 15 at 11 PM PT.

Altogether this should result in a lot more for Black Ops Cold War players who actually make it into the game. Up to this point, the Cold War has felt a bit lacking in content. Just adding Gunfight, which was and still is my favorite mode in Modern Warfare, should make the game that much more fun.

Now they just need to fix the split screen.
