Assassin’s Creed Valhalla It hasn’t even been released yet and Ubisoft is already detailing the post-launch content for the game. Like the most recent Assassin’s creed Titles, Valhalla you will get a season pass, which will include two major expansions. Those expansions won’t be out until next year, but those who don’t buy yet will get some free DLC in the form of seasonal releases.
The first season release will take place in December, and Ubisoft says it will be comprised of new in-game events, settlement buildings, and game modes. Specifically, Season 1 of the DLC will include “a new settlement area”, allowing players to further expand their settlements and the Christmas Festival, which probably needs little introduction given the time of year.
We will also get a new game mode called River Raids that expands Valhallaraid mechanics and a new rank and XP system for Jomsviking, a lieutenant that players can create to become part of their raid team. We will also see new gear, player skills, and cosmetic items released with this seasonal content, and that’s true for the first season update and all subsequent free updates.
While this seasonal content will continue to release throughout 2021 (Ubisoft says we can expect Season 2 to launch in March 2021 with a new combat-oriented game mode), that’s not the only post-launch content out there. we will get next year. . We will also get two expansions as part of the paid season pass. Expansion 1 will be called Wrath of the Druids and will be released in spring 2021, while the second expansion is called The Siege of Paris and will launch in the summer of 2021.
Wrath of the Druids will take players to Ireland, where they will explore “enchanted forests and stunning landscapes”, while The Siege of Paris it’s pretty self explanatory just from the name. Finally, the season pass will include an additional mission called The Legend of Beowulf, which will be playable on launch day. The season pass will be included in the Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s editions of the game, while those who purchase the standard edition will need to purchase the pass separately.
