There are usually complaints when it comes to iOS updates for iPhones, but Apple Watch 3 owners are particularly upset about what watchOS 7 is doing with their smartwatch.
As reported by 9to5Mac, watchOS 7 is causing reboots multiple times a day, with one user saying that rebooting also causes activity stats to clear. This is based on complaints that have appeared on the Apple forums, Reddit, and other sites.
Another user complains that watchOS 7 is causing his Apple Watch to crash and unable to upload complications on faces.
Other watchOS 7 complaints range from slower performance and the Apple Watch 3 doesn’t unlock a MacBook until the batteries drain much faster than before.
Apple has released an update to watchOS 7.0.1, but this has not fixed the problems according to Apple Watch 3 owners. Other Apple Watch models appear to have been unaffected.
Apple’s watchOS 7 update has several benefits, including sleep tracking, family-sharing features, the ability to customize activity goals, and more customizable watch faces. But some Apple Watch 3 owners wish they could switch to watchOS 6 right now.
If you haven’t updated to watchOS 7 on your Apple Watch 3, we will postpone the update until Apple can fix these issues.
