Apple iPhone 13 Pro Matte Black Release Rumors

The new leaks now suggest that Apple could launch a matte black option for its upcoming iPhone 13 Pro.

According to YouTuber Max Weinbach of the EverythingApplePro channel, Apple is looking to update its color options for its next generation of iPhones, especially for the Pro models. One of the supposedly confirmed colors will be matte black, which is meant to replace the graphite version of the iPhone 12 Pro. The tech giant is said to have experimented with bronze and orange variants as well, though they may not be launching yet, or at all. All models will also receive a new anti-fingerprint coating to keep your phone clean and pristine.

In addition to the new colors, the leaker also suggests that Apple will improve its Portrait mode for its camera, which previously occasionally provided messy results through its simulated bokeh and background blur. The feature will now apparently take advantage of the phone’s LiDAR scanner to improve edge detection, so the depth control will look much sharper.

As usual, Apple hasn’t announced anything official yet, so those who are eagerly awaiting the new iPhones should definitely keep an eye out for the upcoming updates.

In other parts of the technology, scientists have managed to take the clearest picture of a black hole yet.
