Respawn Entertainment announces changes to Apex Legends’ Battle pass after many complaints. The Battle Pass was released in Season 7 along with many new features, such as the Trident. However, players criticized the Battle Pass for being too complicated, requiring an unreasonable amount of games and experience gains to earn its rewards.

Apex legends started Season 7 with a completely new map, Olympus. The new map is a giant futuristic city in the skies, giving players a new taste in map design with tall skyscrapers to battle with. There was also Horizon, a new character that introduced unique gravity-based abilities. She is able to take her teammates to the skies while driving enemies away from cover into her black hole. There was also a new vehicle, the Trident, which makes navigating the map that much more fun. While all of these new additions were well received by the community, players quickly began to complain about the status of the Battle Pass, which saw players gain levels at an icy pace.
