Fuse is the newest legend heading to the Apex Games and he brings a lot of grenades with him. Fuse is an expert in explosives and each of his skills fits that topic.
Fuse’s passive allows him to carry an additional grenade in each inventory slot and shoot them faster and faster. His tactical prowess launches a series of cluster mines that fragment into multiple smaller bombs, hitting all enemies in a large area. Fuse’s ultimate ability is called Motherlode and unleashes a barrage that surrounds her target in a wall of flame.
Since all of Fuse’s abilities explode, he should be the perfect character for players who want to enclose their enemies in a small area, or just unleash explosives on them. Fuse should also be a great character for new Apex legends players this season because it’s all about putting explosions and grenades right where the enemy is standing.
Overall, it seems like the Fuse kit should fit in perfectly with the rest of Apex legends list. In fact, it has more than a few similarities to characters like Bangalore, which also has a grenade launcher and a missile. Fuse seems to be more focused on denial and control of the area, while Bangalore’s abilities are more focused on damaging the enemy’s vision and slowing them down.
Meanwhile, Fuse’s unique alterations to grenades, giving it increased range and speed, may mean that some squads will feed all of their explosives to their Fuse, turning it into a one-man mortar team as they rush forward.
The fuse will come in Apex legends with the release of season 8 that is scheduled for February 2.
